OMETEC sets it up as an ideal partner in the planning and manufacture of either two or three plate thermoplastic molds, traditional injection molds and hot chamber molds, manufacture of thermosetting at direct pressure, injection-compression, transfer injection, injection with free canals and with cold chamber for BMC, SMC and CIC as well as in the manufacture blanking dies, block dies, follow dies, step molds and step-by-step molds, and mechanical precision tools.

With its various departments OMETEC allows a management of the progress of the order through a business intranet supported by specific software for the planning of the activities.

In the planning department 3D designs of the tools are produced. Soon after they are transferred to the milling and EDM departments through wi-fi net.

In these two departments and thanks to CAM stations, tool trial courses necessary to the production ofsimple components are created as well as the manufacture of copper and graphite electrodes to be used in the EDM. The components mentioned will be part either of the mold or of the mechanical tool.

At the end of any mechanical workings all the components pass to the hands of a very patient and careful worker, who unites and fits them.

Next to the mold and precision tool manufacture there is the moulding of plastic and thermoplastic rubber material, thermosetting and high-rate injection moulding (food and floriculture industries).

Having additional high technological tools at its disposal, it is also possible the manufacture of only plastic samples or samples moulded simultaneously with the insertion of both metal or plastic inserts and samples which require further assembly.

The business strategies provide for constant investments both in high technological machinery and in new technologies.

The recent development of the so-called Mould Labels Technology is evidence of what just said. This technology allows to produce food containers of various dimensionswith labels inserted during the molding process.
